Linda is a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, working on applying graph-based deep learning methods to histopathology for better risk stratification of colorectal cancer patients. She closely collaborates with the Digital Pathology group led by Prof. Inti Zlobec at the Institute of Tissue Medicine and Pathology in Bern, Switzerland. Linda has a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and also has work experience in quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. She is passionate about facilitating communication and providing support to scientific experts in the medical and life sciences field, who want to use machine learning and deep learning in their research projects.
